Installation
Installation concept design for the Balkan Pavilion at Expo 2025, titled “Tree of Life”. Inspired by the majestic oak, this immersive sculpture is woven entirely from renowned Latvian linens. Suspended fabrics cascade from a grid‐like ceiling frame, their soft drape evoking branches and roots that fill the pavilion with organic movement and light. The tactile interplay of texture and shadow celebrates both the region’s botanical heritage and Latvia’s storied textile tradition, inviting visitors to reflect on growth, connection, and renewal.
