Klotz is a coffee table that has a glass top and wooden legs made up of six separate parts. The legs have a block structure constructed by bracing three legs with the other three legs, producing a simple, sculptural form. For the wooden legs, I used two different kinds of oak wood which have different colours. the one with lighter colour is light oak, and the one with darker colour is black oak. By combinig two different coloured woods, it creates interesting contrast and presents the structure of legs more clearly.
